5-Day Stay

We liked everything, the property was beyond what we expected. the exceptional environment, in a nature of absolute calm, we felt like we were at the end of the world, far from everything. The photos don't lie: everything was beautiful, a lodge and impeccable facilities. Very kind hosts and quality food (for dinner) (vegans abstain). very interesting animals and morning safari. We will keep this 5 day stay unforgettable.

Amazing stay in the luxury tent!!

Loved the stay in the luxury tent! Didn’t feel like camping as it had everything you need, was very clean and ZERO insects inside. Also waking up seeing many animals (like zebras and giraffes), the lovely game drives, great staff and amazing 3-course meals every night made the stay perfect for us!

The place is very nice, but above the description is comfortable and quiet. I wish I had stayed more than a day. The atmosphere is wonderful. The sounds of birds make you fly away. The hosts are wonderful and friendly. They allowed us to stay up to watch TV in the lobby. The place is very clean and the safari is wonderful. They have a large group of animals and the guide is an expert. They all give you a pleasant and specific description and new information. Even about plants. I am very happy about plants. I am happy with this experience. Especially that the tent is is wonderful and clean. The food  is very good.

Absolutely perfect!! Staff extremely friendly. Game drive took two hours and was also great! Luxury Tent a great experience and very well-equipped. Food (breakfast and dinner) very good! We will definitely be back. During breakfast you have the view of the animals (Zebras and antelopes mostly).

Beautiful lodge and wildlife

Enjoyed a tasty breakfast at a beautifully set table, with friendly service and then went on a wild drive. Beautiful scenery. We saw rhinos, different species of buck, zebras and giraffes. It was a special experience and strongly recommend it to all who is looking for an enjoyable outing.

We couldnt rate Hennie and Anette's hospitality higher. The accommodation (luxury tent for us) was impeccable. Some tent! It was glamping at its best. Every last need was catered for, and I especially appreciated the fresh milk, it was perfect for a cuppa as we settled in. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her bath, looking through the tent flaps, out onto the veld.
Hennie (the owner) also does the game drives, so you're getting good information, straight from the horses mouth. At the time, we were the only guests, as it was early season, so he treated us as is if we were personal, long term friends. Ammo, as waiter was very attentive and the new chef was flexing his culinary muscles on us, and treated us to gorgeous dinner and breakfast the next morning. Such value for money....I'd definitely recommend the experience with the Hartenbos team.
